Back home after picking up my new MF 1635

I bought this a few days ago. Thought it was a good deal. $23,200 delivered with loaded tires. I have been looking for six months. I always ended up back at the 1643 so that is what I bought.

The dealer has these rules , no tractor leaves the yard loaded front first , all 4x4 tractors will be in 4x4 . They claim its safer . I don't know the exact weight of tractor with FEL and tires filled , dealer said around 4,500 lbs , my Kaufman 18ft 10000 lb trailer weighs 3,200 lbs , 60 mile trip home was smooth . I will be loading front first in my yard , lol

Seems like a strange rule to me too. But you made it home safe and sound and it really is a great looking tractor. Congrats.

I think you'll love the 12x12 power shuttle. Those extra 4 gears will sometimes allow you to find just the right gear that would not be available on an 8x8. And if the MF power shuttle is like other ones I've tried, no clutch is required to change from forward to reverse and vice versa.

Could be that if this tractor with the loader was on the trailer the other way there would be more weight behind the trailer tires then in front of them. We all know that means a fishtailing trailer.
