I bought new in 1983, and from doing some searches, I could sell for same or more today if I wanted to. A tractor is an investment. As you learn better how to use it, it's usefulness/value goes up. Take your time, find a good unit, one that is big enough for what you want to do, and you will be suprised how much you can accomplish. I'll leave brand decision up to you. I heard a preacher once say, any Bible will pretty much get you to Heaven, you just have to use/study it. Same pretty much goes for tractors. Most will all do the same thing, find what's right for you.
