It's a scam. The seller will contact you directly and ask for a western union cash transaction. Bottom line: if it's to good to be true, it isn't true. On ebay insist on using their email system (ebay's) and only pay with PayPal. Any other dealings and your out of luck.....

I've bid on a number of tractors and implements on Ebay with one rule. If I can't go pick it up and pay on pickup. I'm not interested.
Even someone who is pefectly honest can fail on a transaction. He could be involved in an accident or have some sudden health problem and if you paid up front without some sort of protection, you are at risk.
Ebay guarantees auctions up to $250 dollars or so. You can read the specifics on their website.
As always, it's buyer beware.

Be careful of paypal/ebay. I used paypal for a purchase and never recieved the item. When I filed a claim paypal basicly said "yep you were ripped off and the seller is at fault BUT we cannot refund any money". So my advice is to use your credit card NOT paypal. paypal "protection" is a scam.

And there are things out there that claim to be paypal that aren't. I got an email from them saying they needed to audit my account or something like that. I don't have a paypal account. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
