Buyer expectations

I would be very surprised if they don't agree to show you anything you want on your new equipment. Just ask them.

Im new to tractors and tractor related, I would think it would be perfectly OK to expect my salesperson to give me a thorough demonstration of the tractor and attachments usage including disconnecting implements and basic maintenance of the machine.

This should have been covered BEFORE you put the money down.
Call them immediately and line it up. If you are a true neophyte and need the instruction it could take some time. And they might be thinking you are experienced and all you need to do is pick up the equipment.

If you can't get somebody to answer your questions until you feel comfortable operating your 18 thousand dollar purchase then I would tear up the paperwork and go someplace else. If they won't support you before the sale, how are they going to treat you once they get your money?
Absolutely this

Absolutely this

When I bought my BX, they told me the basics and said I would get a very detailed demonstration and explanation when it was delivered. I was OK with that, and boy was he right. The guy who did the delivery was incredible. Patient, thorough, a great teacher. I hope everyone is as fortunate as I was, because I think this is what you should expect from a premium equipment dealer.
