If you are buying a 2210 beware that the new fel are models
200x and 200cx. the 200x cannot be parked it is suppose to stay on the tractor all the time. john deere is not making the 210 loader any more .

can you explain this further? Why are they doing this? Whats the difference between those two models?

All I can tell you is I just got my 2210 with the 200x fel when i got it home and look in the owner manual i found out you could not take the loader off the tractor without a chain hoist or some kind of lift. cost me and extra 250 dollar to get the 200cx.talk to you dealer if you have question. the 210 loader and the 200x must be about the sAME PRICe while the cx costabout 500 hundred more accord to my dealer. hope this helps my dealer didnot know about the 200x so he saids . also the cx will lift about 200 pounds more. and comes with a 54 inch bucket a least that what i been told. rookie mistake sure hurts the pocket book. a knowledgable dealer should would have help.

That would be completely unsatisfactory for me. I also take mine off and obviously therefore put it back on quite frequently. If indeed it is true, it needs to be explained to the prospective buyer.

Thats kinda insane. Why would you even offer a loader that can't be removed... its just another option to charge someone for I guess. Its not like there is substantial cost involved.

You have a pretty serious dealer/salesperson issue. The fact the 200x is intended to be a fixed mount and the 200cx is removable is not a simple oversight.

You should expect to pay a bit more for a removable loader and you should probably not look at it as being overcharged--I bet the 200cx is not too much more money than the retired 210 loader. I understand that you were quoted a price and that you feel mislead. I would feel that way too and I would be leveraging back on the dealership very firmly. If you feel the deal was misrepresented, stand your ground. If you think the salesperson was just naive and fthought he found a cheap loader for you, you'll have to decide. Whatever you do, don't try to live with that fixed mount loader unless you are running a nursery or cleaning chicken houses with it full time.

Good luck. When you get what you really wanted and expected, this will be just a faded memory.

The same thing almost happened to me. The dealer ordered a 4110 based on the strong likelihood that I would purchase it. There was no formal order paperwork, but I had told him I wanted the 200cx (which replaced the 410FEL) and a fixed ROPS. When it came in, it had the 200x and a foldable ROPS instead. He said it was an honest mistake on his part, and I believe him (he used to be a neighbor of mine). He is ordering a 200cx for it. I'm probably going to accept the foldable ROPS.
