Buyers beware

 / Buyers beware #11
when the 200 series loaders came out I posted info on them, I got it at Deere.com. It clearly stated that the 200x loader was not quickly removable.

In a dealers defense, there are SO MANY configurations, when you are selling everything from string trimmers to combines and all the possible setups that mistakes like this are bound to happen. (I know that I am being generous, I really doubt that I would have made this mistake.. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif )

For some reason, Deere thought they needed a really cheap loader for the series. It might be clear when the new models arrive.

Thanks so very much for the timely "heads-up." I was able to run to the local JD dealer today and snag the last 210 FEL he had. All that were coming in were 200x/200cx and he wasn't aware of the changes. From what he read pricewise at the time, he told me I was lucky to get his last 210. They say "things are worth what you pay for them...so, who do I owe for this web site? /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I almost made the same mistake myself ... I had been weighing a new 2210 from one dealer, and a slightly-used model from another, and almost bought the new until I learned it had the 210x loader. A little research to find it was not removable sold me on the used model with the 210.

Got to pay attention to details /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

( Really, you can not take the 200x loader off of a 2210??? Has anyone else recently bought a 2210 and found this to be the case. I always take my loader off and this would be a huge disappointment!!

That would be completely unsatisfactory for me. I also take mine off and obviously therefore put it back on quite frequently. If indeed it is true, it needs to be explained to the prospective buyer. )

I never take the fel off but i would want it so I could if i wanted to.
