Buying A FEL In A Crate

Congratulations BP! It's hard for the rest of us to imagine you've owned that BX for 9 months without the FEL. You'll find endless uses for it. I'd recommend getting two bucket hooks when you can, maybe the BXpanded removable ones. Had mine welded on by the dealer at purchase. Having hooks really expands what you can move with the loader. I move my mower decks around using a chain and the FEL hooks. When I bought a landscape rake from TSC, I was able to lift it out of my pickup again using the chain and hook approach. Also moved large flat rocks that wouldn't fit in the loader completely - just ran the chain around and under the rock and from hook to hook. Anyway, have fun and stay safe. Oh, do you have some form of rear counter weight? You'll need that too.

Thanks Chris. Really, I haven't "suffered" by not having a FEL. Back in the day, none of us had them.:) I don't have a ton of those kinds of tasks, but I am getting too old to shovel anymore. Dang expensive wheel barrow, that's for sure. LOL.

Counter weight. Yeah, I kept my wheel weights on, and I have a plow or blade or something on the back. But.... I have listened intently to the warnings here to keep that loaded bucket low. I moved some sand today, just 4 or 5 buckets full and did as instructed. It felt just fine and very stable.
