buying a new tractor w/fel

I have been looking at the mahindra 4110 but would also like to consider the kubota and john deere lines, can someone point me to jd and kubotas models that compare to the mahindra 4110.

Just too many models to go through and figure you guys could shorten up my drive and compare times.

Here's a comparison page from a Texas Mahindra dealer. It shows comparable models from up to 5 different manufacturers for 5 different Mahindra models, including the 4110. It only shows 4 specs for comparison, and they may not all be current models, but maybe it's a good starting point for you.

Kubota L3830, L 4330, L4400

The are some big differences in all of these, depends on what you want. If you tell us what you plan to use the tractor for there are lot of experienced people on this site that can offer suggestions.

Go to the JD Forum, Kubota Forum, and Mahindra forum do a search and read, read, read.

Go to the brand web site print specs. Visit dealers get brochures, find out who in your area bought a tractor like you are looking at and call them see what they like and dislike. And drive, drive ,drive each one until you are 100% sure this is the one you want.

For what its worth, I'm a new owner of a Kubota L4400. After doing a good bit of research I found the L4400 to be one of the most powerful compact utility tractors for the money, however, I only looked at Kubota, JD, NH and MF. It is very basic, with no frills but it is 45hp with 40hp at the pto.

I just ask the dealer. They are usually willing to give me names or in some cases they call the person to see if it is ok to give their name out.

I have done the samething when I bought my 250 powerstroke. It was used with 35k miles. I told the dealer I would buy it only if I could talk with the person who traded it in. He called, they said ok, I called and we talked for almost an hour about the truck and other things we had in common ( Ag and misson work, he was a preacher).

It is alwasy good to talk with someone who owns the item you are interested in buying. That is also one of the great things about TBN.
