Buying a trailer- choices

I'd go with something with a tilt bed as it gives you the best of both worlds-your full floor is flat and you still get the angle for loading/unloading. Besides that...NO ramps to mess with. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Mine is an electric hydraulic tilt bed with 22' of flat steel diamond plate flooring. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I have plenty of attachment points for securing whatever I haul. I also have an electric winch (8,000 lb. Warn) on mine so I can load dead vehicles or drag about anything up there I choose.

Honestly, it's the best thing I've done for myself in YEARS and it has made life sooo much easier. Anymore, I don't even drive my tractor on it. I just pull around to the back and hook up the winch and pull it on that way. Once the rear wheels are on I hook a couple straps on the rear axle, level the bed and pull the load taut with the winch. After I attach a safety strap to the front as a backup for my locking winch, off I go. I honestly think it's quicker and easier this way than any other. I know for a fact it's easier. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
