The X340 was an excellent LT- has the 25hp Kawi engine and K58- the K58 is not rated for ground engagement
Just a point of correction, like I said the K58 is actually rated for light ground engagement by Tuff Torq. See links below....now do any of us that know anything about the K58 actually recommend it in a GT that will be used for ground engagement on a regular basis....nope, but that doesn't mean Tuff Torq doesn't rate it for GT's and light ground engagement. A lot of us do not recommend it, not because it is a bad transmission but because there are much better choices out there than the K58 for ground engagement. My point of mentioning that in my earlier post was simply to point out that it is a much beefier transmission than the K46 by comparison. Tuff Torq has decided over the years of real world use that it has held up enough to consider them usable in a light GT. I personally would not buy a GT with a K58 if I was doing any ground engagement. I would, however, buy a LT with a K58 for mowing.
