Buying Advice 1acre Home Tractor Mitsubishi or Iseki

Are you planning on using this for mowing? If so get a hydrostatic transmission, that is what all the manufacturers are selling today. That is what everyone else wants in a small tractor.

Please speak for yourself! I don't prefer or want a HST trans so that means that EVERYONE doesn't want HST!

Went and looked at the iseki first. After seeing the larger iseki in person, I couldn't imagine liking the smaller Mitsubishi. I was able to make a great deal on the iseki. Everything seemed to be in good mechanical working order. Loaded it up and have spent about 2hrs on it. So far so good! Sure Hydro would make it a little quicker, but all in all the gear box isn't bad. At least the iseki has the 12spd vs 8

You are going to have a blast. You will be looking for all kinds of excuses to use it. I was amazed at what my little Shibaura could do. When you are done playing, check all the fluids, check the coolant concentration, grease the tractor and loader, check the air in the tires, and put a new hydraulic filter on it.

It sounds like you got a good deal. Don't forget to post pics!

12 speed is a definite plus.

Congratulations for getting a CUT with a loader (and a Gannon:) ) at that price point. Think about how much capability you got for the price of higher end lawn tractor!

Congratulations on the new tractor! You're really going to love having it around. If you're working around lots of branches, makes sure to be extremely careful. Branches become spears when you're on a tractor, or a spring loaded hunk of pain that slaps you in the face when you're not paying attention.

Keep the loader low when loaded and around overhead tree limbs. Also watch the ROP around trees limbs.
