I was tempted to pass on a loader for the same reason as you, but am I ever glad I didn't. Like everyone else already said, get the loader - it's worth it, and you will find a million uses for it, including power wheelbarrow.

Here's one way to use the LA302 FEL on my B7510HST, unloading a 48" KK brush hog from my F150.
