Buying attachments - how to check a gearbox

Since I did not hit them (hit the snowbank to avoid killing them) they weren't "in the accident". My insurance says it'll be an at fault accident and I have to appeal to the state of ma to get it to no fault or weather. The pd carefully documented the road conditions and I should win the appeal. Ma has a screwed up way to assign fault.


I think I may be able to repair the trailer, the tongue bent but is just bolted on. The rest seems ok and mostly straight. Should hear on the car tomorrow, but I lost all the engine oil and the engine looks like it pushed up off the mounts and the front of the frame is destroyed. Likely will be totaled, but we will see.
