I started by checking this site and the few prices I could find online. Then I sent emails to 3 Kubota dealers asking for prices. Jeff Dean, of Deen Implement Co., responded quickly with an easy to read quote. (Please don’t use them for quotes if you don’t have any intention of buying from them) Some of the others gave me ballpark figures—they needed me to come in so we could “work out the details”. Other quotes on the 5000DT ranged from $23,700 to $21,500. Not only did Deen have the best price (at least on the tractor—I didn’t check the attachments) but a bonus -- they are only 25 miles away.

This is what Jeff sent.

Later he sent an email saying he was giving me a free upgrade because of the 50hp needed the heavier Land Pride equipment.

Went with 3 yrs no interest and think I got a good price. But, like some of you have said – It’s sometimes seems Kubota prices are secret. That’s one reason I wanted to include the details. I was very impressed with Dean Implements. The free upgrade – after we had basically agreed on price was a surprised, and I have to admit I looked that gift horse in the mouth. After I get a few more hours on my tractor I might write a review starting with delivery. So far I like it.

Sounds like a good deal to me. And a good dealer. May I ask why you went with a Bush Hog loader instead of a Kubota loader?

I'm from Grand Saline TX. I went with the Bushhog loader --because I was told it was a better loader -- and the color matched LOL.
