Nice choice. I think the DK45S is on everyone's list as the hot new babe in town./forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

The Kioti website lists three FELs that are appropriate for the DK45s. The KL451, KL1470 and KL1590 are all compatable with somewhat different features. The 1470 and 1590 can be had with quick attach. The 1590 has the self leveling feature. The 451 has more lift and breakout capacity than the 1590 which in turn has more than the 1470. The 1590 has the highest lift height. No idea what the different costs are.

The Kioti brand BH for the DK45S is either the KB2375 or the KB2385 as you noted. You might want to get thoughts about the equivalent new Woods BHs which seem popular and can be fitted with a factory thumb I believe.

Maybe some of the DK45s owners or internet savvy dealers will give you an opinion as to which FEL and BH is best for you. You might want to describe your intended uses to enable folks to give more specific recommendations.

I may be wrong, but when I bought my 45S the only loader available was the KL451. From what I was told the 1470 and 1590 go on the older style 45. The loader is very strong. Only thing I would change would be a bigger capacity loader bucket. That is my only complaint with the loader. Bucket is just to small. The width is fine at 72". Other than that, a fine choice of tractor if I do say so myself. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Good luck!!

You may be correct as I just got information off the Kioti website and it does not differentiate between the DK45 and the DK45S.

If you feel as though you will want to use quick-attach implements such as pallet forks, different buckets and other loader attachments, you will want to go with a model other than the KL451. If you're not that interested in quick-attach, the 451 may be a better choice.

I believe that most quick-attach implements cost a little more than standard, paying for the convenience.

As you may know, there are other types of forks, such as bolt into the bucket types, but they are probably inferior to quick-attach types.

These are the loaders that Kioti offeres with quick-attach plates:
KL1450, KL1470, KL1590, KL1595, KL1730.

As for the hoe, either the KB2375 or KB2385 may be used, but I would go with the 85 for that size tractor. You may as well get all the hoe the tractor can handle. I'm not sure if Woods has a mount for the DK45S yet, but if they do, check it out before you decide.

John, I'm confused, is there a problem with the standard equipment skid steer type QA bucket mount on the KL451? i

Mine came standard with the QA setup. As well as a brush guard. I have pallet forks and consider them a life saver. My father talked me into buying those. Of course everyone knows "father knows best" /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

My new Kioti DK45S is with the NEW KL451S 72" loader, Skid Steer Quick-tach plate, Grill guard, and R4 industrial tires. I'm waiting delivery, Wallace is waiting payment and I guess we are all just waiting /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Also ordered the pallet forks, and a plethora of Woods implements, minus backhoe /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

This Saturday is K-Day - I'll be happy, Wallace will be happy and the bank will even be happier /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hello,

You will not go wrong with the DK5s and KL451 loader. I bought the same setup back in september. It is a powerful setup almost more than I need... but I will be pulling a plow in the spring and I bet I will be happy with the extra power then. Just under 50 hours and zero problems so far... It is a beast and I am glad I bought one! /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

I think Rick is going to be tired after that drive too. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Is there anyplace he doesn't deliver?

Are you sure you don't want him to stuff that backhoe on the trailer? Sounds like a good deal. You will, as others have, find it much more difficult to justify a BH after the intitial purchase/financing. Don't want to rain on the K-day parade here just watchin' out for your long term interests. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Good luck. I'm starting to get jealous.
