Backhoe Buying orange or red, plus GC 2410 MMM and Backhoe conflict?

Hello All,

I'm currently shopping for a small TLB w/ MMM and have it narrowed down to a GC2410 and a BX24. Both dealerships are within 5 or 6 miles of my home and I really like both machines. The entire backhoe seemed more heavy duty on the MF, but both machines were smooth and well built. I like the financing on MF, but the Kubota was about $800 cheaper. I'm putting the purchase off until Spring, so it will likely come down to a few more test runs on each and which ever dealer can offer me the best deal..
Either one will probably cost more by spring.
By now if at all possible

Well, with the new 0% for 72 mos financing, it looks like I will be getting the GC2410 sooner rather than later.

I went up to the dealership last night, got a quote, and now the wife and I are taking a few days just to think it over (we made the decision a few years ago that anytime we are making a big purchase, we'll take a few days or so to think it over). It's only a matter of time......

Probably a good idea. If I had waited a few days, it would have saved me about 5 gallons of diesel fuel - because it seems like that's how long it took me to go through the first tank. There was also about 10 hours on the meter, and what would become a permanent grin on my face. :D

Good luck!

I too ended up in the red field. There were a number of things that pushed me to red, the biggest thing was the dealer. No matter what , make sure you are happy there.

I remember trying to decide, as our local orange dealer offers a liftime powertrain warranty on the orange tractors, but what sold me was the ease at which the backhoe came off and the fold three point hitch. I switch between the backhoe and box blade frequently and enjoy the speed of the change. The orange three point hitch is not very easy yo take on and off.

I was only looking at orange and green until I went to the local dealer who sells both (they also sell Mahindra, but that wasn't on my list). Then I ran into a salesman who acted like he was doing me a big favor to even talk with me, let alone give me any useful information.

I was so upset that I came home and went back to TBN, and that's when I learned about the 2310. When I went to a Massey dealer, the experience was completely different - and very positive. Then 3 days later, the tractor arrived right on schedule.

In our corner of town, there are 5 of us with tractors. 4 are orange; mine is red. We all smile a lot. Life is good.

:D

I bought a red (gc2310 tlb) last fall mainly because the financing couldn't be beat by orange. The other consideration was the RED has a metal body vs. the plastic orange.
