Hi, 1st post!
I am considering a 2006 JD 3720 with e-hydro transmission, 300cx loader with quick detach bucket, 447 backhoe, and R4 tires. Tractor has 2400 hours, runs great according to seller, with all recommended service intervals met according to seller. Includes winter chains for rear tires. Rear tires will need to be replace before too long. Needs new seat.
Asking price is $15K.
My question is about price and hours. It seems like a fair price but I am wondering about the hours. Was owned by a resort type place and most likely used for general maintenance, horse barn cleanup, etc. Obviously used for some digging.
We just purchased about 75 acres with lots of steep hills and a 1/3 mile steep driveway. I plan to use the tractor for plowing, snow blowing, stumping, moving brush, etc. Land is mostly wooded and want to clear some. Property maintenance. I have never owned a tractor of this calibur and am not sure if buying this tractor with this amount of hours is a bad idea..
Would like your opinion.
