Howdy!
I have several decissions to make, and would like some help with those please. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif There are two models of backhoes for the same tractor, and two dealers to choose from. Both sell the same model tractors, but only one sells the backhoe I would prefer.
dealer A) has great service, but is small with little part dept or tech crew. They deal with Rankin and JD attachments, NOT in Bradco backhoes, which I would prefer due to overall strength and ability. I like these guys, they let me borrow a dvd that goes with the tractor buyer, even though I haven't bought a thing from them. I trust them to be fair and honest and prices reasonable though not cheepest. They offered to let me test drive the tractor I liked, and though I declined, it was very nice and inviting.
dealer B) has "used car lot" service center feel, but is large and has lots of parts and material on hand. They have repair crews on hand 7 days a week. They sell a wider variety of implements, and have the model backhoes I wish to put on the tractor I will be purchasing. They sell the tractor and associated backhoe to match that is made bye the same manufacturer. They have not asked if I want to test drive, or try the loader joystick even. I get a different price everytime I go in, I really have to prove to them I know what I'm talking about... The JD is Still a good backhoe I have researched... just not as beefy.
OK now that you've read all this... 1) which dealer should I use, seeing as only one has the equipment I want, but the others service is awesome 2) the tractor I wish to get is a JD 4020 series with hst and 400X loader with beefiest backhoe I can put on it, to save time while using it, and to get over that rough learning curve. I really really like the bradco's 509. SOOOO!!! What do you folks think? Any and all ideas would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Brian Sparkeee24
