buying used out of state

i guess u can pay with a certified check(will protect the seller) and u don't give the check till u see the tractor (protects you) other than that i don't know what to tell you.is this from a dealer or private?

Bird, when I first signed into this thread, I only saw the post from tree treesmith at first too. I thought, "Didn't Steve read that the guy already got the tractor?" Then I noticed I hadn't read the posts above, as you must have done also. I was happy I wasn't the only one got it wrong! LOL John
