Buzzards are pests

Several times, I've lost newborn goats to buzzards. Once, I lost a new calf.

My neighbor had a cow gt down because of paralysis. Buzzards ate a hole into it's hip before he found it. Yep, cow was alive.

There is something else to do, I should have done when I put the last antenna up (had it done - I ain't climbing up there). There are some metal spikes you cam mount to the antenna to discourage birds from roosting on it. Not sure if they are big enough to poke a buzzard in the ***** when he lands.

They don't have to poke the buzzards in the keester. They make the perch uncomfortable to the feet.

I'm not much on climbing up and getting to the antenna stuff either, but it might be worth having someone else do, just be sure you place those spikes on anything else that sits high that is nearby, or they may only move a few feet away from the antenna for the roosting.
