BX 1500 Front Snowblower

Any one have a front snow blower for a BX 1500? How well do they work? How much did you spend for one? Whats the brand name of it? Size?

Any pictures or videos?

I just use a blade on the front of the bucket but I think it works the tractor too hard. Snowblower would be easier on the HST and makes a cleaner look.

For the front mount snow blower you should probably be looking at kubota in this tractor size.

I've got a BX1800 (same frame as the BX1500) with a BX2750 on the front. I'm not sure what the same blower would cost today, but you can easily get a rough idea by going to the Kubota site and seeing what that model would cost extra on a new tractor. I use a blade on the back of the tractor and the blower on the front. I've haven't seen a snow storm yet that will stop it, so I think you'd be happy with it. I put a hydraulic chute rotation system on it also and it operates from the joystick, which is also a nice touch when the wind is swirling around. The blower has Kubota paint and stickers, but I think most of the blowers are made by RAD, Inc. Dyer, retired

Yes, they are made by RAD as are the products for many other OEM tractors. They will not sell these directly through to the public. I have also not seen any off branding of these products. They are very careful not to upset their exclusive distribution networks amd manufacturing contracts. With that said, some of the plows are interchangeable but the tractor "Quick Hitch" is exclusive to the tractor. Maybe this also applies to the Throwers. Than maybe a used front blower of a different color could be an option.
