The dash, well, sucks.
Left side icons and colors under lamps have all cooked off, and the sticky tape seems to have darkened and lightened areas - in tape outline. (Even HST and it's peers cooked off.)
So, are we spending the 3 bills for new silver paint to cook off anyway, or DIYing a solution?
The 1500 also has, not a gauge, but a lamp for Low Fuel - a $6 round sticker over the gauge sized lamp.
Anyone changed one - I do not have the old to look at - seems like it would only stick to the perimeter?
Is it self shielding, no sticky elsewhere?

And I am an impatient mechanic. I seem to bloom mild steel pins - so many here and BX23/RCK - getting rusty round bar out of supporting stuff. Today it was the (non-split like the BX23) bar that mounts the rear lift arms and chains, only way to get that weight/length off. How does one remove rusted/aged pins without blooming from hammer?

THX!

Red heat "shrinks rust".

It's a chemical conversion that only heat does. DON'T hit on the part while it's red hot! It's soft then.

Well, I am not replacing the dash panel.
This one (and as others write) curves way in to the driver in the middle. (I read new ones do too.)
I decided I would NOT attempt to recreate that dash: 2 holes and a square punch, a curve around the wheel out that would all have to be perfect to look right.
So....
I'm gonna' get a small piece of turned aluminum and make a much smaller piece to just cover the 5 lamp and 3 unused lamp spaces and mount 5 lamp bezels to replicate the colors. Only the parallel lines top, bottom, and bezels centers would have to be perfect.
Pics on completion!

The dealership I work at part time has literally a row of old Kubota B series tractors in various states of decomposing.

He must have 30 or so. All run hard and put away wet, Must all be trade in's I suspect. Cute but basically worthless units.

I just checked the serial number on my B7200.

Looks like a 1984 build date... (according to Tractor Data)
