BX 1800 rear axle seal leaking

/ BX 1800 rear axle seal leaking #11
Mission accomplished,as stated just had to pry out old seal with a stiff putty knife, remove the ring or clip with snap ring pliers .I did have to bend the pins a little
to get the right angle to access the snap ring. Pulled the axle and bearing out and remover ring holding the bearing on the axle. Tapped the bearing off the axle
it was just a light tap fit, not a heavy press. I did replace the bearing also, just to be safe. All in all not that bad a job. Thanks to all for the advise and suggestions.

Appreciate the follow up, now I know that it won't be so hard if I have to do this. If I'd known this earlier, I could have saved my buddy a couple hundred bucks.
