Hello,
The BX 22 that I ordered has came into the dealer, which I’m very excited about, but it has bar tires instead of the turf tires that I requested. The dealer will swap the tires for the turfs that I wanted without any problem. He also told me I could keep the bar tires if I thought I could use them for an additional $300. This would give me a set of turf tires and a set of bars.
I live in a subdivision presently, but plan on doing a fair amount of landscaping with the BX such as box blading and leveling down a spot to build a tractor shed with a poured concrete floor. And I also plan on getting a tiller in the near future.
My question is does anyone think there would be enough benefit in getting both types of tires to justify the extra $300 expense? I don’t think the $300 would increase the payment very much, and if they will really help the BX get traction for the landscaping work I would be willing to bear the additional expense. The tractor is scheduled for a Saturday delivery with any tires that I choose as the have both in stock. What tires should I get one type or the other or perhaps both?
Thanks
Greg Williams
