While running my bx will just shut down and die. It act's like you shut the key off...even at full throttle. I suspect maybe a bad ground somewhere or a fuel cut-out solenoid. I can stop, disengage all pto, shift to neutral, ect and she'll start right back up...but it's becoming more frequent and I need to track this down.
Have you been using Bio Diesel greater than B-30? Using Service Power or other additive for lubication with the 15ppm ULSD? Too much of a good thing is a bad thing for your fuel filters. EPA is realizing the sulfur they took out of #2 Diesel is letting the micro-biological organism flourish and the chemicals to kill these fungus is more of a hazard for the environment than the sulfur was. This is your government at work and I heard this straight from a Region 4 EPA Biologist. Reducing your engine load and short time restarts tells me your engine might be starving for fuel in addition to any electrical problem(s).
