Finally got some tractor time this weekend in the pecan orchards of south Georgia. /w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif The leaves had overtaken the yard, and central command ordered that they be removed at once. I carefully surveyed the area by foot and had picked up a huge pile of debris and sticks before starting out, but there are always those who remain unseen, buried beneath the leaves, or camouflaged. Pretty soon, the three cylinder roared to life and the blades engaged, soon followed by clank, crash, chop, chop, chop, smack, /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif and the 60" lower deck on the BX was doing an excellent job chopping fallen pecan limbs, not to mention some pecans every now and then. I took a few pictures of the area before and after, just to show you guys. That 60" deck really moves some leaves! Notice the nice clean pathway it left behind! Funny thing, even with quite a bit of 'chopping,' it still seemed to cut the grass just as smoothly as it did when I bought it this summer. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
