I’m sorry, meant to write bagger kit…not bigger.

Are you saying you paid that for the entire package or that is what the quote for the tractor, loader, and mower was as part of a larger number?

Also you can go back and edit your posts if you want to make a change, which is what I just did to add this /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ah, thanks for the info…that’s what the edit key is for.

That’s what I paid for the tractor, loader, and mower only.

Marco,
Got my price at Wesco Ford in Norwalk. According to the other posts that seems to be a real good price. I have never bought anything from them before but I hear that they are not the best "full service" kubota dealer around. Just to get an idea of pricing I also called Ruwet Sibley in New Milford, I have bought equipment from these guys, and they quoted me $13600 over the phone. I would rather deal with Ruwet, I have done business with those guys for years so if I have a chance this week I'm going to go there and sit down with the salesman and see what he can do.

As far as the first price I got, the salesman gave it to me right off a sales quote sheet he had done up for another customer a couple of hours earlier, for a machine equipped the same, so I don't believe it is a mistake, but anything is possible. He may be able to give a better price if he has had the machine there for a while too, say, before steel prices went up. Thank all you guys for the feedback, the way all the 2200 and 2230 guys rave about these things it almost makes me want to mow my lawn!

I went to the local dealer today, and ask for comparison prices between the BX2230 and B7510, both with 60" MMM and FELs.

He gave me $12,696 for the BX2230 and $14,220 for the B7510.

Haven't started to haggle yet, but expect he might have a bit of room to help make me "feel good". /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Tags,
Thanks for the information. I haven't started negotiating with any dealers in CT yet. I plan to make a move in June. I've also considered going to New Hampshire. My luck I'll probably get stuck paying some tax at a later date. Tax police!!
I've spent a lot of time reading discussion on TBN and reading specs from manufactures. I'm leaning towards the 2230 but I'm also not ruling out the bx23. The backhoe would be a nice tool. I have a bunch of landscaping projects. I rather not dig by hand.

A $1800 difference between wesco and Rewet for the 2230, seems to be alot. What could one dealer provide in terms of level service that the other couldn't for $1800. I'm new at this. Are there things I need to be aware of when comparing price and dealer service? Any help would be appreciated.

There is a MA dealer that has just opened in RI near Rt. 44 called Norfolk Equipment. I checked with them on a price of equipment and found them to be quite reasonable. They will deliver to CT and charge CT sales tax.
