BX 23 and power questions

1*we were at the dealer looking at B7610's and he showed me the BX again
2* it will be slow or could have problems if the bucket is loaded.

1*When I first started I wanted the B 2410
But switched to The BX23.
It sets lower and I felt it would be more stable due to that.
2*Most tractors are overpowered if any thing so the issue is one of traction rather than power.
Why add more power to spinning wheels?

How much difference could there be between 22 hp and 24.My dealer told me the only noticeable difference,was ground clearance in MY wood LOT.Idid a large ditch with 12 yards of crushed stone.I could pick up a whole bucket full no problem,Doyou guys think one bx-23 could have a little more braun then another?I have filled my bucket as full as possible with rocks from my stone walls,not a problem.my dealer also said,if i didnt mind the slight difference in reach,compared to the woods HOE[for the 7610],i wouldnt notice alot of difference in hoes.He explained,about digging force,and tractor weights,and your gonna lift it off the ground,which ever you choose. i will sacrifice smaller tires,and two hp for aneasy on-off hoe,and3-4 grand in my pocket for attachments

No two tractors are identical. That being said, pick the one that you feel fits your needs best. One persons experiences shouldn't overshadow you decision to choose what is best for you. Even the old maid sitting on the side lines at the school dance might get married some day.... all she has to do is find someone that appreciates what she has to offer. Same goes for tractors. If you like what you see, go for it and forget others opinions.
