These next photos show what progress I made on this project. Cheating of course, using a Bobcat 325. I will have to wait until; I get home around Christmas to finish the Banks, any way now the Dirt helps block access to the pond area.
Shot 499 is the spot where all the trees, had been.
Shot 501, shows, how I now have two areas, until the lower part fills up with water.

The good news, is that about six foot down, I hit a two foot layer of clay, and just under that, I struck water, in one corner of the pond. Will leave the most of the clay, for holding water.

I'm glad you decided to post these pictures. It really serves as a good reminder to us all that it CAN happen. Very excellent to hear that neither you nor your tractor was hurt.

It sounds like you learned the lesson about the seatbelt! ROPS up = seatbelt on, always!

Some people say that you're not a true operator until you've rolled a machine. I'm quite content not being a true operator yet.

Troy,

You would have had to run the engine to use the outriggers to help reset the tractor, thus ruining it (no oil pressure).

your pond is starting to look good. please post more photos as things progress.

A B26 would be great for that work but I suppose that Bobcat rental is even better and much less $ then trading in your BX23 on the B26

I notice that you have the BX24 tires on there. If you don't mind me asking, how much did they cost? Also do you notice much difference?

Hey Bernie
Yes I do have the new tires, and have I noticed a difference. They are great.
I have not had a flat tire since I got them, (knock on Wood). I just ordered the entire tire and rim package from my dealer, right around $500.00.
I still have the old Ag style, and will use them this spring, while I am just using the tractor to mowe the grass. Before with the old tires, all kinda flats.

What is the difference between the BX23 and 24 tires/rims?
