Price Check BX-23 price

Got these prices on Monday from Central Maryland:
BX23- 14,800.00
12" Bucket- $396.00
60" MMM- $1,700.00

I have a feeling this dealer misunderstood and gave you the price for just the 12" bucket for the backhoe and not the backhoe with the 12" bucket. If this is the case then his number will be right in line with the others.
For the folks who paid $15.5K or anything less than $16K: when did you buy your tractors? I have a feeling it was before the price jump in steel or during an out of season sale or both. If this is the case it's unlikely one will find any dealer to match these numbers.

I did get another quote about 2 months ago from another local kubota dealer for $14,400 for the BX23<font color="red">This is a steel in todays market:- You should have took it, that's only 200 bucks more than I paid for mine. </font>
and $1,700.00 for the 60"MMM. <font color="red">This is kinda of steep compared to the $1300 that mine cost.

CK30HST w/FEL- $14,500.
I'm still on the fence (and it's beginning to hurt). <font color="brown"> And while you were setting on the fence you let the best deal pass you by. </font> <font color="purple">I would jump off that fence hop on over to the dealer that Quoted the $14400 for the BX23 and grab it up before It's gone. You can always shop around for the 60" MMM and buy the Mower from the dealer offering the best price on the mower after you buy the tractor. </font>

I'm still on the fence because I'll be brush cutting 2+ Acres a couple of times a year and I'm a little worried about the 6" belly clearance as well as the 42" Brush cutter.
Both dealers are equal distance (7 miles), and I feel comfortable with both.

Lots of us are running a 48" brush cutter on a BX with no prob and I for one am getting a "near-finish" look on 2+ acres. I have rocks (lots) and stumps (few) in my uncut areas and have never worried nor had the least bit of trouble with the ground clearance cuz I watch where I'm going and use the FEL to "feel" ahead of me. I'd grab the BX @ $14.4k.

I bought mine from a dealer in Louisiana in May, 2005 and the prices were $14,400 for TLB, $1650 for the 60" MMM, and $165 for the upgraded alternator installed and he delivered it to me. So these prices are recent and the tractor was not one that was sitting on the lot because it had to be ordered.
By the way I did not negotiate with any dealers. I called 4 or 5 of them and took the one with the best price.
