Took delivery yesterday of a 2350 with 60' mmm only and I've mowed everything in sight since. Put about 6 hours on it so far. Here are some of my early observations:

-- Bigger than I thought. When I looked at them a week ago they were surrounded by bigger machines. I was expecting a beefed up riding mower, I got a little tractor. Nice.

-- Lots of plastic. I know this has been mentioned before, but geez, the whole top and sides are plastic. I don't so much mind that it's plastic (no unsightly rust), but the fit and finish are a bit bothersome. Lots of gaps and places where foam and plastic don't meet up as they should.

-- Mower kicks a**. We've got a pick your own apple operation and I was expecting to just use the mower to clean up around the stand and parking area, but continue to use our box mower on a bigger tractor for most orchard mowing. This thing can easily handle foot high, very thick grass and clover all day long. The blades are very heavy duty. I mowed between the rows in two blocks of trees totalling about 400 trees in a couple of hours with absolutely no problems. I have never seen our orchards looking nicer. Very happy.

-- Sips the diesel. Nice

-- Bouncy ride. Maybe there is an aftermarket seat with some shock absorption??

-- Quiet.

-- Good for driving down the road. Seems pretty fast and has nice lights.

-- Headlights are outstanding. Tried it out last night just to see if they were any good. They appear to be as powerful as automobile headlights. For anyone who farms you know there are times when night work is necessary or preferable -- this tractor would be great for that.

That's all I can think of now. Hope some find this helpful.

Minus your concern about plastic (I have your model's predecessor: 2230), I had about the same reaction to my new BX. I am still amazed at what the MMM can cut through (non-woody brush up to 4 feet here).

Enjoy.

Purchased my BX 2350 in June to assist my L5030 around trees and on rolling and hilly terrain in western Virginia--not that the L5030 needed the assistance but I felt more secure, closer to the ground, etc.

The little orange bug (as my neighbor called it) has performed quite well. I find that I use the BX 2350 much more than I thought. The biggest complaint would be with the cover and panel fittings. I mow or bush hog close to 20 acres. The BX cuts great and goes thru some tall grass and light bush. Great machine.
