Greetings all,
Last year I bought a home with 6 acres of rolling land, a creek with hardwoods, all cleared w/ 3 acres of lawn, the rest in pasture & gardens. I started looking at various compact tractors, and after many months of reading TBN, researching various sites, & trying out NH, JD, Kioti, Kubota compact tractors I decided on & purchased the BX 2350 2 weeks ago. Believe me I agonized over the decision; like many I wondered if I shouldn't go bigger for more power, ground clearance etc. I tried the 2350 out twice at the dealer, and it sold itself. I bought a 'package' with FEL, 60" MMM, ind. tires and 40" Woods tiller.
One of the main selling points for me was comfort and leg room - I am 6'3" tall and the 2350 has a bigger roomier deck than any of the others, and the Kubota just fit me better. The FEL is great, incredibly handy for hauling dead limbs, mulch, gravel, anything. I just cut the lawn 2 days ago & the mower works beautifully; this little tractor is Strong, I worked it hard and it asked for more... very comfortable, the ind. tires didn't scar the lawn, the diesel engine smoooooooth...
Although I only have about 10 hours on it I am extremely satisfied and happy with my decision, it will be plenty of tractor for my needs and would certainly handle a much bigger spread than mine.
