Yup. You've successfully triggered my memory. That's what my dealer told me, although he checked on a quote I got from Barlow's (a sponsor of this site), and they are quoting the three-way as standard. They are still available on the BX. My dealer explained that the biggest difference is that the 4-Way allows (float) which is important for, among other things, a front plow or snowblower. He said that you can get away with a 3-way in the south where it doesn't snow, and its a cheaper option.

I got a quote of $13,900 today for a BX 2350 w/60" deck, FEL, grill guard, and rear ballast. Is this a pretty good price?

Nah, sounds high to me. Call John down at Industrial Equipment...419-836-2561. I'll bet it's cheaper, and he's a great dealer. I've used him for years, and he's straight as an arrow. Tell him Scott sent you....

hello I am new to the forum but have used it for research for the last several years during contemplation time, after looking at different size tractors I went with the bx2350 for all of the newer upgrades it had and am very pleased so far.

I purchased bx2350, 60" mmm, fel, 4ft box scrape for 12,300

Actually I did go to John and he was a little higher. I forgot to mention too this was out the door price w/tax included (6.5%). John definitely knows his stuff.

I don't know when you got your price, but he made an adjustment at some point. I'd give him a chance to sharpen his pencil. Can't hurt.

I called John just for reference, I'm in IL, but I'll tell ya, he's a nice guy. Seems up front and honest. Gave me the best price yet, but unfortunately, not enough to justify a 16 hr. round trip to pick it up. He was under 13,500, OTD...

I told him "Scott" sent me to give you at least a feather in his hat..

I guess I didn't realize how far you were away. Too bad. This guy is unbelievably honest, quite a change from the moneygrubbers that'll say anything for a couple bucks, like another one here in town.

IF he says you need a bigger machine or a different attachment, by golly, you do. In my case, he rightfully steered my back the BX when I was considering the 7510. Happy I did. The man knows his stuff, and has actually saved me quite a bit of money by pointing out when I should just rent an implement instead of buying it. There was a time when I hit a fencepost with my mower deck and ruined the shaft for one of my deck rollers...he was out of replacements at the time (the only time he's ever been out of what I wanted) so the man pulled one off a stock display unit. I actually go out of my way to buy supplies from him that I used to pick up at the local chain stores...his price is always right in line...

Bought one last week with 60" deck ergonomics are great better than 2250 I think. So far I have only cut 3 acres of grass. Some hasn't been cut for long time and covered with leaves! I went full speed got a great cut without the slightest hesitatation from the 2350V. I dont, know MSRP but I paid 11200 all included. I luuv it. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
I'm not sure if it was this thread but I don't think it is fair to compare similar machines for box blading with turf tires vs. R4
