I think the three point hitch for my BX24 will not lower as much as my old BX2200. the box blade will not lower enough to work as well as it did on my BX2200. I am thinking of gettin another adjustable lift arm and adjusting it down a couple of more inches . any others have problems with this

The attachment point for the 3pt arms on the BX24 are positioned higher than on older models. This solved a common complaint about them being too low. If you need more drop, adding a second adjustable lifting rod sounds like a good solution. I did this on my (older) BX for the opposite reason, to get more height. Works well.

Is there a source to buy adjustable lift rods?

An easy do-it-yerself solution is to drill extra holes in the lift arm shackles and/or the lower links, each about 1.5" from the original holes. Worked for the earlier BX's anyway. Works for me (to get more lift). I think "charliebrn" did the original thread on the process. There's a BX mods thread somewhere too that lists most of the common BX mods.

I simply bought a "replacement" RH adjustable lifting rod assembly from an online parts dealer and swapped out the fixed length LH lifting rod.

I just wandered into the shop and back out after 15 minutes at the drill press ... prob solved.
