BX-25 starts after jiggling the HST lever

Hi All,

My Bx-25 is only starting sporadically and only after I jiggle the HST lever. Initially it happened infrequently now it is every time and getting worse. Is there a safety switch on the HST lever that could be causing the issue. I looked at an online parts manual but couldn't find switch.

Yes. The HST pedal must be at neutral on all Kubotas to start the engine. Something must be out of adjustment in the pedal mechanism, but I don't know that model.

Try greasing the HST pedal.
I think it's under the floormat.

What is the "HST lever" ?

Do you mean the directional pedal, or maybe the range selector?

MY BX doesn't seem to have a HST directional lever. But it is an older model...
