BX 25 three point lift capacity

It's pretty bad when you have to do the maintenance for the rental company, but that is what ends up happening all to often. That is why I lean toward buying over renting....that and the time window for use.

I have a BX25 and had a Wallenstein BXM42 chipper shredder. Great machine but too heavy for the BX. The BXM42 weighs 800 lbs. it could lift it but it was hard to keep the front wheels on the ground. Had to put lots of weight in the bucket. Better to rent.

I also have the BXM32 and it works great with my BX23 tractor.

Why is it better to rent. You bought to big a chipper for your machine :confused3: I looked at the BXM42 and knew from the get go it was way to heavy for a BX.

Been a long time and I stumbled on this old post. I bought a used GME 18P chipper that works great except on conifers which tend to clog it up due to the tacky nature of the wood and needles. I would like to find a source for parts if possible
