So how do you foam fill? What is the weight difference?
I have to disagree with ultrarunner on the weight. I did not weight my tires before and after foam filling, but I was able to lift my BX25 rear tires in and out of the pick-up bed before having them foam filled. After being foam filled thinking I would do the same was a wasted thought. It may be the company I used added something into the tire along with the foam to increase the tire weight, I don't know and never thought to ask, but my rear tires are way over 200 lbs each now that they are foam filled. I base this estimate on comparing the weight of the tires to my 100 lb IH tractor weights.I took my wheels to AG tire shop where a vent holes was drilled into each tire and then hot medium density foam pumped in until coming out the vent.
Tires had to remain on side until cured to avoid flat spots… I picked up the next day.
My BX tires each gained about 50-60 pounds from memory but don’t hold me to that.
Easy to carry before foam and I could not lift after foam.
