I want to use a 5 foot rear blade and rake on a bx2200. I've heard there may be problems with height and clearance? I'm looking at Land Pride implements and a "Quick Hitch"? Is this the best set up? Also, does anyone have any experience with implements from the Northern Equipment catalog--they are much less expensive? thanks.

I have the LandPride RB1560 ... it's built like a tank. I also have the skid shoes for it so I don't take my asphalt up with the snow this winter, but haven't yet attached them. No complaints on usage - this rear blade is very heavily constructed and can be angled easily. It's heavy though - and that makes it difficult to get on and off - I built a stand for it so I can line it up easily.

The attached picture is of a RB1572, but the same construction ...

... cheaper blades seem to just have a single 'strut' for the top-link attachment. Don't know how well that works, but it doesn't look as solid as the LandPride.
