Roque, it seems I always have to reply to your posts. You must be related to a friend of mine on a non tractor list I belong to cuz you seem so much like him--anyway--glad to hear that all is well, fingers crossed for you.
Yeah, everyone immediantly comments on how quiet the BX is compared to their Craftmans and Murrays and assorted Wallyworld 999.00 dollar specials. Sometimes the guys start frothing at the mouth, drool running all over their Murrays as they go into spastic fits. There is something of a spat going on on that other forum now over insulting Murray owners, has anyone ever thought perhaps that those who purchase nice equipment might be insulted by the insinuation that a Murray would do as well and we just wasted 9000 dollars or more--nah--I guess not. I suppose if one does not want to hear an obvious answer then one should not ask the question-- are Murrays the best dang tractor in the universe? If that is not a ludicrous comparison! Oh, I forgot, they always want a "long lasting one " also for that 999.00.
Anyway, glad to hear you are on the right track. You know what I did--ashamed to admit because I am so careful--I changed my oil and installed a new filter and then added three quarts, checked the dipstick--no oil--WHAT!!!!!---oh good grief--I did not reinstall the stupid drain plug. That is why when we work on airplanes we keep the manual in front of us even if the work has been performed a 1000 times before--good thing I checked the dipstick before starting--at least my training (luck--blind luck) saved me there.
