I have a piece of galvanized C channel I lay over my piranha toothbar when not in use. A heavy piece of angle could also be used for protection.
I'm spending your money here but if your tractor has an SSQA FEL, I'd buy a second bucket and equip it with the Pro bolt on bar. That way, you can swap buckets instead of fooling with bolts.I am leaning towards the regular Piranha bar, I use the bucket for different tasks and I also am trying to protect my bucket. The Pro bar I don't think I can justify the extra cost. What are your guys thoughts for all around use.
Does the Piranha improve digging? Hinder back blading ?

I had a bolt on tooth bar and found it hindered the back dragging work I do. As a result, I was constantly installing & removing it. To save time, I bought a second SSQA bucket and equipped it with the bolt on Pro.
Of course this depends on the type of work you do and the size of your budget.![]()
