BX cable cutting tool?

Is a hacksaw or Sawzall blade best for this or is there a better less burr creating tool?

I also have bent it until the corrugation snapped apart and used the attached cutters made by Klein

You can get by using a hacksaw if you only have one or two cuts to make. I did not know about the BX cutting tool when I first started using BX and would mess up about every other hacksaw cut. When you discover how good the BX cutter works you will be glad you invested in it and never go back to the hacksaw method.

If you are speaking about a wire rope, I cut many a cable during a year. I have tried every tool that you could think of and a bolt cutter is by far the best. The cable will not ravel and it will be a good clean cut. The first time someone told me to use a bolt cutter for cutting cable I thought that they were crazy. Then I was at a store one day and ask an employee about a cutter. He said to use a bolt cutter. I told him that I didn't think that it would work. He had me go to the spools of cable and try them. I have been cutting cable with that same pair ever since.
