Oil & Fuel BX front axle oil?

What type of oil is supposed to be used in the front axle of a BX? I have not been able to find a specific designation in my owner's manual? I imagine that I can use motor oil if I like, but I'm wondering if Kubota has a specific recommendation somewhere that I just haven't been able to find?

From page 64 in the manual under Lubricants:

Location: Front axle case
Capacity: 4.7L (5.0 U.S. qts)
Lubricants: Kubota Super UDT fluid or SAE 80-SAE 90 gear oil.

"See LUBRICANTS in MAINTENANCE OF TRACTOR section." I saw that all over the manual, found that in the table of contents, turned to page 64 about five times, yet somehow missed that all five times.

I have always just used gear oil just whatever i had laying around last time i used the same thing i used in the gearbox of my mmm

I suggest you use a gear oil with an EP (extreme pressure), designation.
