The other day I was filling the BX2350 and remembered when I was a kid and filling our Ford 1100, it had a strainer at the fuel tank that served as a "pre-filter". I'm wondering why doens't the Kubota have one of these? Do most modern tractors not have this anymore? Am I missing a part?

I do keep my fuel can clean, so I won't be dropping dirt clods in the tank in the near future. I guess the big 5Gal. steel tank back then was heavier to hold for me when I was 10 or 12.

Ours have two fuel filters before the fuel even gets to the fuel pump, hense the reason for no pre-filter in the tank.

The filler hole on my BX is so darn big, I worry sometimes that I'm going to accidentally put the little cap to my carry jug in there. Then I'll have to figure a way to fish it out...

I guess if I thought I would have an issue, I'd invest in the screen myself. More junk to put in my shop ;-( Thanks guys. I like the filter system, that's nice.
