Well it happened.
I've broken my new tractor. It has 11 hours. 8 of those, heavy F.E.L. use digging and moving soil.
Today while doing the final finishing of the BX shed pad, a F.E.L. hydraulic line (red one) sprung a leak. This is the line that feels the dump cylinder.
Luckly I saw it right away and only lost less than an ounce of fluid.
Loaded her up and headed to the dealer (Lawson Sale of Winnipeg) about a 30 K (22mi.) one way trip.
On the way there, I though how nice it was to have my own trailer and how I would be steamed waiting for the dealer to come and pick it up while the project was put on hold. (boy that sentence was too long wasn't it) Anyways, then I wondered maybe it would be for not, because they would be too busy to help out and the project would still be on hold.
Well, the service manager Ron greated me by my first name and a warm "hello how can I help".
He personally took care of it and in thirty minutes without even unloading the tractor I was back on the road.
The cost was zip and I got a big thank you for them for bringing in it right away on my own trailer.
I am really glad I bought a Kubota. I extremely lucky to have bought it from such a Excellent Dealer.
Hats off to Lawson's Sale in Winnipeg.
Job well done Ron.

woodstock,

Good to hear the "boo-boo" got taken care of so painlessly. I have a question for you ... where did you get your trailer (and if you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost you)? I have a B2910 and am 160 miles (one-way) away from my dealer. Although they have offered to let me use one of their trailers for free, the resulting 8 trips back and forth represents over 1,200 road miles (and for one service visit, that is unacceptable). I didn't originally plan on getting a trailer for my tractor, but I beginning to rethink this for future service and repair considerations).

Now Woodstock - just because they call it a 'breaking in' period it doesn't mean that's what you have to do /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Don,
I love the trailer is is very well built unfortunately I noticed your in Utah. I am in Winnipeg, North of Fargo ND by 120 miles.
The trailer was $2,500 cdn divide that by 1.54 to get US Dollar cost.

One thing you get a trailer get one with a beaver tail it will make it easier to load the tractor.
