I have seen lots of post's on hydraulic top links, but my question is what length cylinder are you using on a BX and where did you buy it? I contacted CCM and the shortest one they sell is 16" my stock top link will screw down to 14" and my normal lenght is between 14 and 15". I want a cylinder with check valves, and at 16" closed I could not even use it. I really would like one that closes to around 13 or 13-1/2" so I can really take advantage of having it. Any help is greatly appriciated, thanks.

One suggestion, spring for a set of Pats Easy Change, they make the lower lift arms almost 4" longer plus impliment change a lot easier. That would solve the top link problem if you can't come up with any thing else, and it's a lot of fun for me, spending your money. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Milkman, your suggestion would definitely work, I would like to keep the stock length if I can. With all the threads on rear remotes for the BX someone must be using a hyd. top link, so what are you guys using /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I don't want to spend the money on rear remotes if I can not use a hyd top link.
Thanks

I've got a BX too. Out of curiosity how much is the rear remote/valve for the top link? I was thinking it would be neat to add a cylinder to move my rear blade angle from side to side for snow plowing using a hydraulic top link valve that mounts into the fender.

I added a hydraulic top link to my L3010 since I needed remotes anyway for my log splitter. I purchased mine on eBay from a seller (a retail tractor dealer) that sells new top links. He has various sizes. Mine is an 18-26 inch and it cost about $145.00. I love it.

I remember a thread of a BX owner that had a nice two lever setup attached to his ROPS. He used it for a blower to run the chute rotation and defelector angle. That's the setup I'd like to try. I could use it for the top link when the blower is not attached or to run a splitter, but the splitter might not be a good option with the limited flow of the BX hydraulics.

Schultz,
don't know if it helps, but I just put top and tilt on mine, 725.00 for that and 1000.00 for two remotes one to run each... It was 600.00 for the first and 400.00 for the second...

I don't have it in front of me, but a gent posted a list of parts to add a rear remote on a BX2200. It was significantly cheaper than buying the Kubota kit.

Searching a couple years ago on BX2200 remote should find it.

Take a look at toplink they have top and tilt with all the valves. Don't know the price but may be worth the phone call.
