I did the 50 hr oil change on the BX yesterday. Three quarts of 10W-30. Also checked the torque on the frame bolts as recommended and checked the hydraulic fluid levels etc. Everything looked good. Then I remembered watching a U-tube video by Paul Short, regarding the inner tie-rod rubber boots on the BX, so I checked and sure enough, the left one was cracked and leaking grease. The right one wasn't leaking but the rubber was split and felt crumbly. I thought this odd for a brand-new tractor so I called the dealer and am waiting for a call back. Wow, not in that short of time. The boots on my BX2200 lasted about seven years before they torn on some brush.

None on my 2008 2660, but tore the ones on my 2003 2200 on brush.
