Mowing BX Mid-Mount Mower Deck

The mower deck stand and wheels are from Larry, a TBN member and a great guy to do business with. He has a BX and knows the product. I have a mower deck stand and they work great. It is not as easy as just adding a pipe and wheels, believe me I tried . Larry has machned the axle stand so they fit perfect. Take a look at his web site.

NO doubt he's a great guy - but for $100 big ones - I'll frustrate myself first before spending that king of cash (come on, that's like 10% of a tiller)... Mine might not be as pretty... but conceptually they will hold the deck upright!
(Then, after it falls over into the tractor or the truck, I'll buy Larry's)

There was a fellow a yr or so ago what made wooden stands for his MMM and it seems to have worked out fine for him. He probably had $10 and alittle labor invested. I'm sure others have done similar.
I was going to do the same when the oppurtunity came up to get these fancy stands.
Larrys Moweraxle's work great for me and I have no problem rolling the MMM around the shop to either get it out of the way or to get closer to the air compressor/tool box. In my case those axles were a present from a lovely lass, who wasn't jealous of the machine at the time.
I doubt she'll buy me anything more that'll get me more seat time
They collect dust 8 months out of the yr but earn their keep the other 4.

I will probably need to mow one more time this year but once that is done, I am sending my axle bolts to Larry for modification. My MMM wheels also had grease zerks from the factory but every one of them pulled out when greasing.
