BX mower deck greasing, how awkward?

Thinking of looking into a BX for a replacement for a Grasshopper mower. We are cutting back on our mowing and the Grasshopper is on its last legs. One of the things we hate most about the Grasshopper is your supposed to grease it every ten hours and it has about a dozen zerks,some are hard to reach. How many zerks does a BX with the 60" mower have and are they hard to reach? How often do you have to grease? Thanks!

I believe there are eleven counting the wheels, we rarely do the wheels. My wife can grease it in ten to fifteen minutes.

There is a fairly recent thread on this; don't remember the consensus.

True, but your anti-scalp rollers should NOT touch the groud so those are out. That leaves 7 left. 2 for the shaft and the rest of the deck.

I put (1) pump of grease on the mower deck fittings (not the wheels) every month; which is about 8 hours. I only really care about the (3) spindles for the blades.

I absolutely love, how easy the BX decks are to remove the belt covers, even while still on the tractor. This allows, what I feel, as easy access to all zerks required.

If you have your scalp wheels set so they never touch then you have them set WAY too high. They will turn when contacting the grass or on uneven surfaces and need to be greased.
