Looks like switches for his lights mounted on the rops. Looks like they are connected to those two wires hanging down.

Yes, you are absolutely correct!!! There are two toggle switches there for my lights, one for forward, and one for reverse. Somewhere here I posted my lights as a project, and if you do a search, i'm sure you'll find it. I used stake pockets to mount the lights, and it works great, without drilling any holes in the ROPS.

/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Actually, those wires hanging down are connected to my headphones which I hang on my lights when I'm not using them! I used 4 wire trailer harness to wire the lights, and used black duct tape to cover the trailer wire on the inside of the ROPS. At the bottom of the ROPS, I put the wire through the hole that the turn signals use, then to the switches.

Nice machines btw. Did you run your lights directly to your battery? Thanks.

Did you shorten up your seat springs to make your seat more level? Mine are tall and stiff and even at 220 pounds I feel like the seat is tipped forawrd all of the time. I have considered either shortening the springs or raising the front of the seat with blocks.

No, I ran the lites with the work light harness directly under the seat. this works with just two lights, but I'm shortly going to add more lights, so I'll probably run a main to the battery and another bank of switches/fuses. I'm still researching this. I plan on adding2-4 more lights. Yea, yea, I know...I'm gonna look like a UFO landing. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Thats ok, though, I want to make sure I can see everything around me this winter, since I'm always doing my snowclearing at night....

No, I didn't feel any need to change my seat at all. Fits me just fine, and I feel comfortable.

I am starting a homepage with all of my mods, though, so check them out at:
