BX Reciever hitch on the cheap

Matt if you were to do it again would you change anything?

Artisan- Only thing I might change would be to cut the tabs for the safety chains off. And that is is only because the 3pt linkage makes it difficult to get the hitch pin in and out when I am moving trailers with the 3pt linkage on the tractor.

I struggled with how to have a hitch that would do what I wanted it to do, easy to put on and take off, and offered the capability for other applications that I might come up with. Plus, the ability to raise and lower the trailer, without leaving the seat. And because I have different trailers that have different size ball hitches, I use a hitch that can easily switch ball size. Probably not the cheapest set-up, but no where near what I have seen some hitch set-ups go for, mine was about $50.00 for everything.
